The production of calendars featuring firefighters has become a kind of Australian tradition. Since 1993, all the money from the sale of these items is used for children’s hospital foundations and to support the burn unit in the Children’s Hospital at Westmead. Selling these calendars, the firefighters have collected more than $1,000,000 in about 20 years.
This year they hope to collect even more money. To support the World Society for the Protection of Animals, they decided to take pictures with cute pets that come from animal shelters.
We would really like to buy one of these calendars — because these men are not only handsome, they’re also honorable.
